From Bus Book 2008-2009

The Hop bus has got to be one of the best busses in Boulder for students living on or right near campus. It connects downtown Boulder and the hill with CU campus and 29th Street Mall. Students can get most all of their shopping and entertainment taken care of thanks to this route. For those tired legs that don't want to walk to campus, the bus services many stops along 9th street and College Avenue on the hill and takes them directly to campus when traveling counter-clockwise. Or if you've had a hard day at school jump on the clockwise bus from campus for a direct route back to the hill. During the school year the Hop disguises itself as the Late Night Transit from midnight to 3am Thursdays through Sundays to provide students with a safe way around in the dark hours of the night. Almost feels like your at home again having your parents take you everywhere you need to go.

The Hop runs as frequently as it stops. During the week you can expect to see a Hop every 7-10 minutes during peak hours making it extremely reliable with little need for a schedule. It reduces frequency in the early evening to every 15 minutes then every half hour for the late eve. On Weekends and holidays you can expect to see one every 15 minutes during hours of operation but be aware, it only runs from 9 am- 11pm on Saturdays, and from 10 am -6 pm on Sundays.
